We had so much fun this weekend.
On Saturday, we went to the mall with Hager, Trevor, Philippe, Victoria, Harmony and Jordan. We shopped and we ate ice cream. The East View Mall is huge, there are so many stores and restaurants! We spent almost five hours there and we didn’t even see everything.
Later during the night, we went on a haunted hayride. We waited approximately three hours before it was our turn. The ride was more fun than scary. There were people dressed in Halloween costumes and honestly, they were creepy. But they were not allowed to touch us. At one point, we had to walk in a haunted corn maze. And it was scary because it was dark but we still had fun because we were all together.
On Sunday, we had lunch at Harmony's. We ate soul food. Which consists of mac'n'cheese, all kinds of meat, potato salad, dressing, sweet potatoes and cinnamon. Then we had desert and we ate sweet potato pie, brownies and pound cake. After that we played volleyball in the backyard. The fun part came later. Almost all of the French students went to Trevor's where he had a bonfire. We made s'mores, Victoria played the guitar and we all sang, even though we can't sing. It was such a great night, I feel like we all got closer that day. We're kind of a family now.
